Cornelis Bistro is a family run business based in the centre of Staines-upon-Thames, leading from Staines Bridge along to the pedestrianised section of the High Street, a short walk from the Two Rivers retail complex and Bridge Street car park.

Mr and Mrs Ampah have worked in the hospitality business  for more  than  17 years, both as restaurant manager and head chef. The Bistro operates a friendly and skilled team of passionate chefs, with a shared a love for cooking. Dennis originally learnt to cook from his mother and upon moving to the UK he started working as a kitchen porter and worked his way up to Head chef. Later going onto college to further enhance his skills and perfect his own style of cooking.

Together we always aim to serve beautiful homemade food from the finest ingredients we can source, so instead of putting on our menus “homemade this” and “homemade that”…
